Have you been looking for ‘ice dam removal near me’? Are you located in Madison Heights, MI? Well, then you’re in luck because at The Roof Doctor we offer roof ice dam removal as well as roof snow removal via our roof snow removal service.
When it comes to ice dams, they come from a combination of different factors. Those factors are the loss of heat from your roof, the freezing temperatures outside as well as the accumulation of snow. All of this combined creates a dam on your roof. While the loss of heat on your roof is melting all of the snow, and the ice at the end of the roof has formed a dam. And then the melted snow will make a puddle right above that dam. And as time goes by, this dam is going to grow. When you notice ice dams, you can get our roof ice dam removal service to come to your home and take care of it for you.
You should regularly look up to check your ceiling whether there are any water spots. This is the way you can know if your roof happens to be leaking. And you should also make sure that you take care of your leaking roof as soon as possible. Otherwise, you’re going to end up facing much bigger repairs that can cause a lot more damage to your home. And those types of repairs can get very expensive.
A common type of those expensive problems with a leaking roof is if you end up getting mold in your attic, your ceiling, inside your crawl space, or even on your walls. At first, mold might not seem like much of a big deal. But when it’s affecting your home, removing it can be very costly. Which is why you should be clearing up any ice and snow from your roof as soon as possible. And that’s why we offer our roof snow removal service as well as our roof ice dam removal service.
Our expert contractors can get rid of snow or ice dams from your roof in practically no time at all. We only use high-quality and efficient methods and modern equipment that helps solve all snow and ice dam issues. That said, we don’t recommend you try to remove any of the ice dams on your roof yourself. Walking on ice on the ground is already dangerous enough. But climbing on your icy roof during the cold months can lead to even more dangerous situations. So instead of going through the hassle and putting yourself in danger, get our roof ice dam removal service at your property to take care of things for you.
If you’ve started seeing icicles forming around the edges of the roof of your home, you should get our roof ice dam removal service. We know that the icicles can look pretty. But they’re also a sign that the ice dams have already started forming on your roof. And when the ice dams start damaging your home, you’ll no longer think that you can look at the pretty icicles for a few more days.

We also hired him to fix our leaking skylights! It was quite the job. He came by the first week and tackled the roof vent/gap with his colleague John. Then we had some bad weather - so there was bit of a delay. But we were cool with that! About a week later he came back and wrapped up the Skylights which were a ton of work to fix. It had been "fixed" incorrectly several times before he came out and it was a mess of caulk... Which didn't really ever solve water getting in. (Though the inspection prior to the quote we found nails in the attic that weren't nailed into the roof truss (so water was unfortunately getting in through that AND he found once he removed the shingles on the roof multiple holes from where nails used to be, but weren't, on the flashing, felt, etc. and water was obviously getting in through those as well)We had a huge storm a few days after the job was all done and everything is working as it should! Thanks Nick and team. read less
